Hola, me llamo Doris Durupt. I was born and raised in Vanderhoof. I have an amazing husband of nearly 25 years and 4 sons and a daughter-in-law.  My first language is English. I took Spanish as an elective in highschool instead of French.  I enjoyed traveling and seeing the world as a young adult and further fell in love with the Spanish language. I continued to study Spanish at University and now love helping others experience the world through second language.
I have worked in SD91 for 25 years, 21 of those years as a TTOC, serving teachers in all subjects and all grades.  I’m thrilled to be teaching Spanish at EBUS Academy for the past few years.  Outside of my profession, I enjoy teaching ballroom dance, watching Marvel, our Goldendoodle, Lucy, and much more!  Choose Joy because you always can!
