Twig is tailor-made for teachers in Grades 6-9. The Twig website provides school-wide access to thousands of three-minute films for Science, Math and Geography, as well as worksheets, lesson plans, quizzes and diagrams. Twig resources are easy to use. This session will provide an overview of the resources available in TWIG and examples as to how teachers would be able to use it in the classroom/online.
TigTag is a science resource for Grades 3-5. TigTag meets the requirements of the curriculum while extending content further. Complete with films, lesson plans, activities and quizzes, TigTag offers everything you need to teach science in elementary grades. This session will overview the resources in TigTag and provide suggestions how it can be used in the classroom/online.
