BC Tomorrow – Engaging Technology for Investigating Sustainability

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.

Participants will be given a short presentation. Then, they will be shown how to access teacher-friendly learning templates and the instructional video series, run historic, future business as usual, and their own planned future scenarios, as well given an overview of the other elements in BC Tomorrow that are designed to increase user engagement. Participants will have time to practice, collaborate and share the learning tools while examining ways to best use them to meet the needs of their students.

Please see www.bctomorrow.ca and look over the site. If you have time, watch the video on the landing page. Finally, it will be very helpful if, prior to the session, you could please login to the simulator and create an account (teacher). Choose a watershed and run a scenario. A "lesson" will be supplied to help guide the session.

Prior to the session:
  • Please follow the directions here to set up an account on BC Tomorrow website
  • Complete at least steps 1 to 5 prior to the 11:00 am session!

Check out the latest BC Tomorrow newsletter here.
