I am a Montreal-based musician with professional hats that ange from conductor to cultural mediator, community arts facilitator to musicians’ health therapist.
As a teaching artist, I use the arts to encourage students' sense of wonder, understanding of themselves and their experiences, and engagement in the world. I tailor each project to the interests of teachers and students, needs of schools and equipment available (use of found objects, acoustic instruments and digital music production possible).
As an instigator of change, I work as Public Relations Liaison for ELAN ArtEd, a program that brings professional artists into schools across Quebec, and CNMN's Participatory Creative Music Hub, an online resource for music creativity.
